These Terms of Service govern your use of clarivnt.com and the clarivnt AI old-photo restoration service. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Clarivnt is designed to help users restore old photographs with AI and compare original and restored images in a private workspace.
Features, limits, availability, and results may change as the service develops. AI restoration is an interpretation of the source image and may create inaccurate or invented details.
Clarivnt currently uses the fal-ai/image-apps-v2/photo-restoration model through fal.ai's hosted API. fal.ai identifies this endpoint for photo restoration and commercial use. We may change providers or models as the service evolves; any current material change will be disclosed on the service or in these Terms.
You retain ownership of photographs you submit, subject to any rights held by other people.
You grant clarivnt a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, modify, and transmit submitted content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide the features you request.
Clarivnt does not include a public gallery or publish your submitted content through the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process the content. Be especially careful with photographs of other people, private family material, archives, and copyrighted works.
Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms and explains the content standards, automated and human review, reporting, response targets, enforcement, and appeals that apply to AI restoration.
You agree not to:
Prohibited categories include sexual/NSFW content, violence/gore, hate speech, child-unsafe content, deepfakes or impersonation, and copyright or trademark infringement. These categories are defined individually in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Results depend on the quality, resolution, and condition of the source photograph. We do not guarantee that damage can be repaired, that faces or buildings will be reconstructed accurately, or that colors and details match historical reality.
Always keep an untouched backup of the original photograph or scan. Do not use clarivnt as the only storage location for irreplaceable material.
Clarivnt provides newly registered users with two complimentary restoration credits and offers a paid monthly subscription that includes additional restoration credits. Each restoration normally uses one credit unless the service states otherwise. The limits, prices, renewal terms, and included credits shown when you select a plan form part of these Terms.
The Clarivnt Monthly plan renews automatically each month until canceled. A successful payment adds 20 restoration credits that are valid for 30 days and do not roll over. You may cancel before the next renewal through the available account billing controls or customer portal.
Taxes, cancellation options, and refund rights are handled according to the purchase terms, our Refund and Cancellation Policy, and applicable law.
The clarivnt service, brand, interface, software, and original site content are owned by clarivnt or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, AI processing, storage, analytics, or payments. Photo restoration and automated NSFW classification are currently accessed through fal.ai. Their availability and terms may affect parts of the service. clarivnt is not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate misuse, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or a particular restoration result. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, clarivnt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
Questions about these Terms, content-safety reports, and appeals can be sent to support@clarivnt.com. Use the subject Content Safety Report or Content Safety Appeal when applicable.
